Pretty Navratna motifs look classy and graceful on this timeless yellow Patan Patola double Ikat weave from Patan in Gujarat. Patola weaving requires a lot of precise mental calculations, vivid imagination, patience, undivided attention, and dexterity of the hand. Currently, there are only three families practicing the Patola weave. One of these is the Salvi family, which is now in its 16th generation. This saree has a red phul and stripes border. The pallu is two-way, on both ends of the saree. Rows of red with phul motifs, on one side there is an additional gold zari strip. No blouse comes with this treasure.
